About the role

The company is a well-established leader in food and beverage operations and the execution of large-scale events, employing over 150 team members at any given time. As General Manager, you will report directly to the owners and work closely with company consultants to drive strategic and operational success.

In this role, you will collaborate with department managers to ensure seamless front and back of house operations while overseeing inventory management, ordering processes, and vendor relationships. You will provide leadership and operational oversight across two restaurant locations, with a strong focus on driving sales, managing labor and food costs, and maximizing overall profitability. A key priority will be delivering exceptional customer service and consistently high levels of guest satisfaction. You will also ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, while closely monitoring financial performance to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Compensation
Monthly Salary: $500,000.00 JMD (Net)
Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience

Key Selection Criteria

Education
Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or Business Management
High School Diploma or School Leaving Certificate
Skills Training Certification
Health and Safety Certification

Experience
At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager (GM) or Assistant General Manager (AGM)
Exposure to a fast-paced hospitality environment
Experience in high-volume kitchens preferred
Proven experience in financial planning and staff management

Transferable Skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve goals
Customer-centric approach with excellent conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in using restaurant management software and tools

Desired Attributes
