You're responsible for multi-day programmes and carry operational responsibility for every participant, every partner, and every experience across the duration of the tour. You bring itineraries to life and build community.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Take full operational responsibility for safe, high-quality programme delivery from participant arrival through final departure
• Execute the approved itinerary across all programme days, adapting in real time while maintaining quality and safety
• Conduct structured morning briefings and evening debriefs every programme day
• Facilitate the programme orientation on the first or second evening, covering the company story, itinerary, safety expectations, and open Q&A
• Plan and execute a minimum of two WOW Moments per programme, managing the WOW Fund with full financial accountability
• Lead the service learning cycle daily: preparation, engagement, structured reflection, and celebration of outcomes
• Build and maintain group cohesion across the full programme using company activity resources
• Manage all participant medical declarations and conduct daily check-ins with participants with declared conditions
• Address conduct issues promptly and progressively; escalate to the company when required
• Maintain daily proactive communication with the group leader throughout the programme
• Track and photograph all expenses daily; file incident reports per category requirements
• Distribute and collect Participant Evaluation Forms at the farewell dinner before the group disperses
• Submit the full post-trip report, expense sheet, and self-evaluation within five business days of return

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-day youth or student programmes in an international or travel
context
• Strong storytelling ability with the capacity to connect people, places, and purpose across a sustained
programme
• High emotional intelligence: able to manage group dynamics, support distressed participants, and stay
composed under pressure across multiple days
• Excellent cultural competency and professional relationship management with community partners and institutions
• Sound judgment in safety, emergency response, and escalation decisions
• Meticulous financial accountability with daily expense tracking and post-trip reporting
• Proficiency with WhatsApp, Google Workspace, and CamScanner
• Fluency in English required; additional languages (Spanish, French Creole) are an advantage
• Formal qualifications in Education, Tourism, Youth Work, or International Development are an advantage but not required
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS (TRAINING PROVIDED)
• Standard First Aid with Adult CPR from a recognized body (in-person only)
• Pediatrics First Aid with CPR for programmes with participants under 16 (preferable)
• Tour Guide License where required by destination (e.g. TPDco, JHTA license for Jamaica)
