About the role

Deliver professional and attentive food and beverage service by taking orders, serving guests, and anticipating their needs throughout the dining experience. Ensures guest satisfaction by monitoring service, promptly addressing concerns, following the full sequence of service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain tables, chairs, service stations, utensils, and restaurant areas according to established standards.
2. Greet and welcome guests, introduce yourself, offer water, and follow the required sequence of service.
3. Take and accurately process food and beverage orders while demonstrating strong menu and product knowledge.
4. Monitor tables throughout service, anticipate guest needs, and promptly address requests or concerns.
5. Ensure guests receive their orders efficiently and are satisfied with their dining experience.
6. Complete opening, closing, and meal-period duties to the required standard.
7. Assist with special functions, reserved settings, and other assigned restaurant activities.
8. Maintain proper grooming, hygiene, uniform, and professional conduct at all times.
9. Follow company, food safety, fire, hurricane, and workplace safety procedures.
10. Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and team members to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
11. Attend departmental meetings and participate in initiatives that support guest satisfaction and operational standards.
12. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Key Selection Criteria

• High School Diploma or above. Food Safety training / certification.
• Two to Three years minimal experience in the hospitality industry and ability to maintain the highest level of standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
• Even-tempered and able to manage stress and long working hours.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

NOTE: Requires writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, lifting. Also requires the ability to constantly carry 20 – 25 lbs. of additional weight
