Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Officer monitors, facilitate and act as liaison for projects involving the enhancement and/or development of tourism products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies potential projects leading to development of products
Liaises with project owners on behalf of TPDCo.
Execute tasks which derive from facilitation processes
Visits and monitors project sites and reports to Coordinator on a timely basis
Liaises with technical experts within TPDCo, including architects, quantity surveyors and product quality officers in the facilitation process.
Liaises with funding institutions on behalf of project owners

Functional/Occupational Competence
Knowledge of public sector regulations.
Knowledge of project development, analysis and management
Knowledge of legislative framework for tourism investment
Proficient in the use of computers and applications for data analysis
Excellent communication skills in various media

Works effectively with other team members to achieve team goals.
Excellent interpersonal skills
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or construction related discipline with at least two (2) years project management experience
College Diploma in Construction Management or construction related discipline with at least five (5) years project management experience
