Open Positions:

Barista $120,000.00 JMD
Deliver exceptional customer experience by crafting high-quality coffee and beverages and engaging politely with customers.
Understand customer impact of each beverage and show genuine appreciation for creating the perfect “cup of joe.”
Prepare and serve items efficiently following recipes and business standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace.
Educate and upsell menu items and coffee/tea blends to enhance the customer experience.
Support management by monitoring inventory, providing feedback and recommendations on new beverages, and reporting customer feedback.

Bistro Chef $120,000.00 JMD
Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, handling, and storage in compliance with health and HACCP standards.
Menu development by planning and creating new cost-effective dishes.
Manage staff to ensure consistent food quality and proper training of kitchen assistants.
Control inventory and expenses by ordering supplies, preventing food waste, and managing vendor relationships.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen by enforcing hygiene, sanitation, and equipment standards.

Server $70,000.00 JMD
Greet and assist guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about ingredients, preparation, and specials.
Prepare and serve light food items promptly, including pastries, sandwiches, and grab-and-go options.
Communicate dietary needs and allergy-specific orders accurately to the kitchen.
Maintain clean and organized service areas by clearing dishes, wiping surfaces, and resetting seating.
Support sales and operations by upselling items and assisting with daily setup, closing, and store cleanliness.

Handle cash operations by opening/closing the register, processing payments, and preparing cash lodgements for manager verification.

Key Selection Criteria

Experience – 1 year previous relevant experience preferred
Basic skills and knowledge – proficiency in math and English, understanding of food safety protocols, and familiarity with food/beverage equipment.
Customer and team interaction – strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
Work capability – ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for prolonged periods.
Flexibility – availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
