About the role

Provide daily care for a variety of animals, including feeding, cleaning habitats, and monitoring their health and behavior.
Prepare nutritious diets and ensure enclosures are safe, clean, and enriching.
Observe animals closely and report any health or behavioral concerns to the veterinary or management team.
Assist with enrichment activities, training, and conservation programs that promote animal welfare.
Educate and engage visitors by sharing interesting facts about the animals and encouraging conservation awareness.
Maintain accurate records of animal care, feeding schedules, and observations.
Follow all health, safety, and animal handling procedures to ensure the well-being of both animals and guests.

Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Zoology, Biology, Veterinary Technology, or a related field is an asset.
Previous experience working with animals in a zoo, wildlife park, veterinary clinic, farm, or animal care environment is preferred.
Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
