Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene.

About the role

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas according to hotel standards.
Change bed linens, replace towels, replenish guest amenities, and restock housekeeping supplies.
Vacuum, dust, mop, polish, and sanitize all assigned areas to maintain exceptional cleanliness.
Inspect rooms to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards before guest arrival.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost-and-found property promptly.
Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Respond courteously to guest requests and provide prompt, friendly service.
Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
Collaborate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for occupancy.
Support laundry operations and deep-cleaning projects as required.
