Responsible for overseeing daily operations ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and strong financial performance. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory and costs, and creating a welcoming environment that drives customer loyalty and profitability.
The Café Manager oversees all daily café operations, directly supervising both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service, consistent food quality, and a seamless guest experience. The role includes managing staff scheduling and performance, monitoring inventory and supplier orders, controlling food and labor costs, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring proper cash handling and sales reporting. The Café Manager also works closely with the owner, providing regular operational updates, financial performance reports, and recommendations for improvements to support business growth and profitability.
